Harvest Times: Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday 11 am-6 pm

Season: April-October

What: Certified organic botanicals— see the list below.

How: We plant, water, tend, and weed— and you harvest!

Who: Local makers, cooks, and herbalists who want to have a closer relationship to the plants that they work with (and build community with the people who grow them)

(Maybe also your kiddos, partners, or friends who also want to come harvest with you.)

How: We'll provide an orientation and map of the fields before the season starts and email you once a week to let you know what's in season.

Self-Management: You determine how much you might like to harvest, how often, and what that feels worth to you— you set your own price, and you can come as much as you’d like.

Mutual Aid: We are in relationships with a few local mutual aid herb groups, and you’ll be able to help contribute. If you are a mutual aid group, sign up for a solidarity share (no cost) and email me— we can make plans for you to come harvest/stay here if needed.

Coming from afar? Email to ask about camping options.

Plants Available for PYO: calendula, california poppy, chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, echinacea flowers/leaves, feverfew, dandelion, red clover, goldenrod, meadowsweet, mugwort, milky oats, blue vervain, nettles, mugwort, marshmallow, maypop/passionflower, solsticewort/saint j's wort, wild rose leaves/hips, plantain, catnip, skullcap, tulsi, yarrow, plus dye plants, edible flowers, culinary herbs, and botanical roots — all certified organic!

PLUS, you're welcome to mindfully wild forage anything that grows in abundance in the hay fields and forest surrounding the herb plots (pine, birch, hemlock, turkey tail, dandelion, red clover, goldenrod, joe pye weed, vetch, sorrel, etc).

Caveat: Because we're structuring this very openly, we can't guarantee that you'll get every plant you want exactly when you want it. We'll do our best to make sure that there's enough for everyone, but the nature of both farming and community is that we can't predict everything. We invite you to think about it this way: the medicine you get is probably the medicine you need.
